Our Story
Learning Jungle Academy is a bilingual English and Spanish Language childcare center which adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Childcare Center, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives with the added benefit of language skills in both English and Spanish.
Benefits of a Bilingual Education
At Learning Jungle Academy, we utilize a bilingual curriculum to promote the development of language skills in both English and Spanish. As the United States becomes increasingly diverse and multicultural, we believe that learning a second language is vital to student success. Spanish is of particular benefit as it is the 2nd most commonly spoken language in the United States and on Earth. The U.S. now has more Spanish speakers than Spain!

Aside from the practical benefits of being able to speak a second language, there are also many cognitive and developmental benefits for children. Extensive research on bilingual education has demonstrated benefits in children’s attention, school performance, behavior and engagement, and may even have protective effects against dementia in older age. At Learning Jungle Academy we are in an ideal position to help children learn a second language as research has shown that the ideal language-learning window is during the first few years of life—the most rapid period of brain development.
